This paper examines the historical and intellectual significance of al-Jurjani’s work, focusing on its influence on the study of Arabic syntax and rhetoric. The study analyzes the manuscripts and lithographed editions of Al-Awamīl al-Mī’a preserved in various global collections, including those at the Abu Rayhan Biruni Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and institutions in Russia, Azerbaijan, and Europe.

It also discusses al-Jurjani’s pedagogical approach, his intellectual legacy, and the impact of his teachers and students. By exploring the global dissemination of his work, this paper highlights al-Jurjani’s lasting influence on Arabic linguistics, positioning his theories as foundational to the development of later linguistic and rhetorical studies.

The findings underscore the importance of Al-Awamīl al-Mī’a in both classical and contemporary discussions of Arabic grammar.
