THE OBJECT OF STUDY OF MORPHOLOGY, PHONOLOGY, AND MORPHONOLOGY

Abstract

In this article, the object of study of three main branches of linguistics — morphology, phonology, and morphonology, their interrelation, and the role of each branch in language are analyzed from a scientific perspective. The article highlights the relationship between form and sound in the structural system of language, the essence of morphonological processes, and their significance in the grammatical system.
