Mariya Vitalevna Grigoreva ,

Abstract

This article examines the specific features of the interpretation of the chronotope in Russian and Uzbek literary studies. The chronotope as an artistic and aesthetic category is analyzed in the context of various scholarly schools and methodological approaches. Particular attention is paid to the interpretation of the unity of time and space in a literary text and its functional role in revealing the author’s concept and the structure of the work. A comparative analysis of the theoretical views of Russian and Uzbek researchers is carried out, identifying both common typological features and national-cultural characteristics in the interpretation of the chronotope.
