THE EXPRESSION OF DIMINUTIVENESS IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE: A GENERAL OVERVIEW BASED ON FAIRY TALES

This article is about how diminutives are expressed in English and some specific aspects of the formation and use of diminutives in English. When we communicate with children, we intentionally or unintentionally change our intonation, vocabulary, and choice. Our speech becomes more emotional and informal.
