This article examines the interpretation of the science of badi‘ in the work “Talkhis al-Miftah” by the prominent Arab scholar Jalal al-Din al-Qazwini. The study analyzes the essence of the science of badi‘, its role within the system of Arabic rhetoric, and its significance in embellishing literary discourse. Particular attention is given to the classification of verbal and semantic rhetorical devices presented in the work and their function in enhancing the aesthetic quality of speech. Based on various examples from classical Arabic literature, the research highlights the importance of al-Qazwini’s contribution to the development of Arabic rhetoric and literary studies.
