This article systematically analyzes the linguistic nature of the adverbial modifier, its semantic and syntactic features, as well as its forms of expression in Arabic grammar. Within the framework of the study, the main types of the adverbial category, their functional load in speech, and the grammatical means of their expression are examined on a scientific basis. In particular, the similarities and differences between the types of adverbial modifiers in the Uzbek language and the corresponding grammatical categories in Arabic (الحال، ظرف الزمان، ظرف المكان، مفعول لأجله وغيرها) are identified through comparative analysis. In addition, the theoretical interpretation of the adverbial modifier and its role within sentence structure are explained based on classical sources of Arabic linguistics. The results of the research demonstrate the significant role of the adverbial category in clarifying speech, enriching semantic content, and its effective application in language teaching and translation practice.
