This article analyzes the scholarly views of the great Sufi scholar and poet of his time, Abdurrahman Jami (1414-1492), on Arabic grammar in his work, «al-Favoid az-Ziyaiyya».

«al-Favoid az-Ziyaiyya» is one of the most comprehensive grammar manuals created in Central Asia. This work examines every grammatical issue in detail, supported by examples. «al-Favoid az-Ziyaiyya» devotes special attention to Arabic linguistic terms. The author took a fresh approach to some terms and explained them in his own unique way. Although many books on Arabic grammar have been written over the past five centuries, «al-Favoid az-Ziyaiyya» stands out among them for its simplicity, clear style, and breadth of topics covered.
