OPTIMIZING INTERFERENCE DYNAMICS IN ENGLISH SPEAKING SKILLS THROUGH INTERACTIVE TEACHING METHODS
Bobur Turdaliyev ,Abstract
This study focuses on reducing interference in English oral speech and optimizing the dynamics of interlanguage development. Interference arises from the interaction between the native language and the target language systems, leading to phonetic, grammatical, and lexical errors in spoken communication. The research was conducted within cognitive-communicative, psycholinguistic, and interlanguage frameworks. These approaches explain language acquisition not only as a linguistic process but also as a cognitive and communicative one. Based on these theoretical perspectives, interactive methods such as debates, problem-solving situations, and competition-based activities were employed to enhance learners’ active verbal participation and promote spontaneous speech production. The findings indicate that these interactive methods significantly improve students’ speech accuracy, fluency, and pragmatic adaptability while reducing interference-related errors in oral communication.
