THE ARTISTIC HARMONY OF THE AUTHOR’S WORLDVIEW AND THE PSYCHOLOGICAL STATE OF THE LYRICAL HERO IN BABUR’S POETRY

The article examines the lyrical persona in Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur’s divan in relation to the author’s worldview, biographical experience, and historical reality. Autobiographical episodes from the Baburnama are compared with selected ghazals and rubai, revealing the psychological and poetic functions of landscape, separation, homesickness, and the concepts of sovereignty and moral aspiration. Without equating the lyrical “I” with the empirical author, the study explains their convergence through biographical grounding, aesthetic generalization, and poetic transformation. The findings show that psychological expression in Babur’s lyric poetry is produced not only by thematic statement but also by lexical choice, syntactic parallelism, sound patterning, rhyme, and poetic detail.
