THE THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE CONCEPT OF PEDAGOGICAL MASTERY IN HIGHER EDUCATION

This article provides an in-depth overview of the theoretical foundations, essence, and practical significance of the concept of pedagogical competence in the context of major reforms and digital transformation occurring in the higher education system of the 21st century.
The author characterizes pedagogical competence as a combination of a teacher's knowledge, skills, values, and personal qualities, and analyzes its relevance and role in modern education. The article elaborates on various types of pedagogical competence, including special, social, personal, methodological, informational-communicative, innovative, and cultural-communicative competencies.
