This article discusses the role and importance of the formation of linguocultural competence in teaching English to students of non-philological higher education institutions. The fact that in the era of globalization, English has become not only a communicative tool, but also the main key to intercultural communication is scientifically substantiated. Also, effective methods and didactic approaches used in the development of linguocultural competence are analyzed.

The rich creative heritage of Alisher Navoi has been preserved and passed down to us. Alongside his artistic works, he also created scientifically grounded writings, which even today serve as a guiding source for our time. One of such valuable linguistic works is “Muhakamat al-Lughatayn.” This work is a scientific study based on a comparative analysis of two languages — Uzbek and Persian-Tajik. It can be regarded as a linguistic dictionary. In this article, through the study of the work, we aim to express our thoughts on the correct approach to linguistic issues. By reviewing the history of our language, we intend to present Navoi’s scientific foundations in a simple and comprehensible manner for teachers and students.

As a result, it is substantiated that multimodal tools are an integral part of modern digital discourse.

The article highlights the pedagogical conditions for students to understand ecological values through sports tourism classes, to demonstrate ecological culture in the process of practical activity, and to instill the ideas of sustainable development.

In recent decades, inclusive education has been increasingly recognized as a policy aimed at expanding learning opportunities for all students, including those with special educational needs (SEN). In this context, information and communication technologies (ICT) have become a crucial tool for implementing inclusion by providing adaptable materials, flexible learning formats, and enhanced communication opportunities. This study analyzes the pedagogical, technical, and methodological roles of ICT in teaching English within inclusive classrooms, based on research conducted in Uzbekistan and European contexts. Using a literature-based synthesis approach, data were collected from academic publications, governmental guidelines, and comparative studies. The findings reveal that ICT enhances accessibility through screen readers, subtitles, and visual aids; supports differentiation through multimedia and adaptive platforms; and promotes communication via online interaction and virtual language tasks. Practical studies in Uzbekistan confirm that ICT integration increases student motivation and participation. The results also indicate that the effectiveness of ICT depends largely on teacher competence and the availability of resources, emphasizing that technology itself is not sufficient—pedagogical design and guided methodology are essential for successful implementation.
