THE PURPOSE OF PHYSICS FOR MASTER'S STUDENTS IS TO DISCOVER THE GENERAL LAWS OF NATURE AND, BASED ON THEM, TO EXPLAIN AND IMPROVE SPECIFIC PROCESSES

This article analyzes the role of modern physics in understanding nature as a holistic and interconnected system. It is argued that although the achievements of modern physics have revealed important aspects of the unity of nature, the single and complete physical essence of the unity of the world has not yet been fully determined. In particular, the diversity of elementary particles, the reasons for the origin of their mass, charge, and other fundamental properties still remain an open scientific problem, and at present these quantities are determined mainly experimentally.
