ORGANIZING THE IMPROVEMENT OF METHODOLOGICAL SUPPORT FOR PHONETICS TEACHING MATERIALS: THE CASE OF AN ANALYSIS OF UZBEK SCHOLARS’ RESEARCH

This scientific article examines the improvement of methodological support for phonetics-related educational materials at general secondary and higher education levels, based on the scientific heritage of Uzbek scholars. The article focuses on urgent issues in teaching phonetics, including the formation of literary pronunciation norms, the development of phonological competence, and the enhancement of exercise and task systems. It also analyzes the contributions of scholars such as G. Hamroyev, B. Mengliyev, G. Dostmuradov, and N. Rasulov to the methodology of teaching phonetic materials. The main directions for developing phonetics-related educational materials—such as harmonization with national values, the introduction of advanced technologies, and the step-by-step organization of exercises and tasks—are also identified in the article.
