THE LINGUODIDACTIC ESSENCE OF DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ ORAL SPEECH COMPETENCE

Abstract

This article examines the linguodidactic essence of developing students’ oral speech competence. The study analyzes the structural components of oral speech competence, its role in communicative activity, and the methods of its formation in the language-learning process. Special attention is paid to the importance of modern pedagogical technologies and interactive methods in enhancing students’ ability to express ideas freely, participate in communication, and improve their speaking skills. The findings demonstrate that the development of oral speech competence is one of the key factors in increasing the effectiveness of language education.
