THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR DEVELOPING STUDENTS' ECONOMIC COMPETENCIES IN AN INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

This scientific article comprehensively examines the theoretical and methodological foundations for developing students' economic competencies within a modern innovative educational environment and analyzes their role in the integration of higher education. Based on learner-centered and competency-based approaches, the study highlights the pedagogical conditions and models for fostering future specialists' economic literacy, entrepreneurial thinking, and practical decision-making skills in non-standard economic situations. The research identifies the methodological potential of digital educational technologies in enhancing students' intellectual engagement and improving their ability to analyze economic risks. Based on the findings, a set of innovative strategies, didactic modules, and practical recommendations aimed at improving students' overall economic culture in higher education institutions has been developed.
