ABOUT HISTORICAL TOPONYMS IN THE TERRITORY OF JIZZAKH AND SYRDARYA PROVINCES

In the article, the causes and tasks of the emergence of historical, indigenous (substrate) toponyms located in the territory of Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions, as well as their current status, are analyzed based on historical sources with the help of specific examples in research methods and the solution of existing problems in this field.
