METHODS OF DEVELOPING THE LEGAL CULTURE OF TEACHERS OF THE PUBLIC EDUCATION SYSTEM IN THE PROCESS OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The article presents the results of a study devoted to the development and testing of a methodology for developing the legal culture of teachers of the public education system of Uzbekistan in the process of professional development. The relevance of the topic is due to the need for teachers to develop stable legal knowledge, professional and legal skills, and value-motivational attitudes that meet the modern requirements of the country's educational policy. The paper reveals the theoretical and methodological basis of the legal culture of the teacher, defines its four-component structure, including cognitive, value-motivational and communicative-behavioral components. The developed methodology is based on a modular approach, practice-oriented learning technologies and legal modeling. Experimental verification of the methodology showed its high effectiveness: the teachers of the experimental group demonstrated a significant increase in the indicators of legal culture in all components, which confirms the effectiveness of systematically organized legal education. The practical orientation of the research allows us to recommend the proposed methodology for implementation in professional development and professional training programs for teachers. The results of the research contribute to improving the legal literacy of teachers, strengthening the legal order in educational institutions and improving the quality of teaching activities in general.
