SOCIAL MOBILITY AS A FACTOR ENHANCING WOMEN’S ROLE IN SOCIETY

The article explores social mobility as a critical driver in enhancing women’s roles within contemporary society. It examines historical backgrounds, institutional “lifts,” and cultural barriers shaping women’s trajectories in education, employment, and politics. The study argues that widening opportunities for both vertical and horizontal mobility not only boosts economic growth but also deepens the democratization of social relations.
