The article explores one of the central ideas of Sufi teaching - the concept of the perfect human (insan al-kamil) and the peculiarities of its interpretation in the works of Professor Najmiddin Komilov. The essence of the concept of the perfect human in Sufism, the stages of its formation, moral and spiritual aspects, as well as the views of Sufi scholars on this issue are analyzed. The contemporary significance of Najmiddin Komilov's interpretation of the idea of the perfect human in Sufi teaching and its role in spiritual and moral education is revealed.
