
EDUCATIONAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MEIJI REVOLUTION

The article analyzes the beginning of the Meiji Revolution after the end of the Tokugawa shogunate, which ruled Japan for a long time, and the transition from feudal society to a modern nation state, profound changes in various fields, especially in the education system, the end of the "closed state" policy, and the introduction of modern Western-style technologies and educational systems.
