This article examines the international legal regulation of alimony obligations complicated by a foreign element. In particular, it analyzes the content and scope of application of the Hague Conventions of 1956, 1973, and 2007, as well as their interaction with national legal norms. Special attention is given to the mechanisms for resolving maintenance disputes under these conventions and their significance in the development of international family law.
