This article analyzes the educational functions of sport in the development of youth national consciousness from socio-philosophical and pedagogical perspectives. The study substantiates the role of sports activities in shaping national values, patriotism, civic responsibility, and social engagement among young people. Particular attention is paid to the key educational mechanisms of sport, including moral education, discipline, teamwork, self-control, and social adaptation. The article also discusses the strengthening of national identity through sports culture in the context of globalization, as well as the promotion of national pride and social cohesion among youth. As a result, the paper proposes academic conclusions and practical recommendations aimed at improving sport as an educational institution and ensuring the effective use of its moral and cultural potential.
