This article analyzes the issues of employment and unemployment in modern society from a socio-philosophical perspective, while women’s employment problems are considered an essential component of this process. Employment is interpreted not only as economic activity but also as a phenomenon related to an individual’s position in society, social integration, and opportunities for realizing personal potential. Unemployment, in turn, is evaluated not only as an economic problem but also as a factor leading to social exclusion, loss of self-confidence, and increased social inequality. The article highlights the influence of education level, gender stereotypes, family responsibilities, territorial disparities, and modern forms of labor on women's employment, while employment issues are examined within the framework of social justice and equal opportunities.
