This scientific article is devoted to studying the essence, specific features and prospects of the processes of national identity awareness through the education system in Surkhandarya region. The article analyzes the ways of harmonizing national values and global outlook in educational institutions, taking into account the historical, geographical, cultural and ethnodemographic aspects of the region. The results of the study show that an integrated approach designed to develop national identity awareness at all stages of education in Surkhandarya region gives effective results. The article uses scientific and analytical methods and analyzes the results of surveys and observations conducted in educational institutions in different districts of the region.
