ACTIVITIES OF MEDICAL COLLEGES IN THE FERGANA VALLEY REGIONS IN THE 1980s
Feruzakhon Mutalipovna Karimova ,Abstract
This article analyzes the activities of secondary specialized medical educational institutions in the Uzbek SSR in the 1980s based on archival materials. In particular, using the annual reports of the Namangan Medical College, Fergana City Medical College, and Kokand Medical College, the study examines their educational and material base, admission policies, staff composition, educational process, practical training, and воспитательная (educational) work. The findings show that these institutions played an important role in training mid-level specialists for the healthcare system during the Soviet period. However, insufficient material and technical resources, certain challenges in organizing practical training, and outdated curricula limited the quality of education.
