This article covers the information on the interaction and direct activities of the SCO and the Central Asian states in the period from 1996 to 2025. Looking back at history, this organization, which focuses on regional security and economic cooperation, was established in 1996 under the name "Shanghai Five" with the participation of 5 countries (China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan). Uzbekistan, with its numerous initiatives, revives the activities of the SCO. In particular, in recent years, out of 105 initiatives put forward by Uzbekistan, more than 80 have been implemented in practice. Over the past 24 years, the SCO has not only become an influential organization in the international arena, but also occupied an important place in the global geopolitical space of Eurasia and the world community.
