This article analyzes the socio-pedagogical role of the family institution in the process of forming the legal culture of youth on a scientific basis.The study explores the content of the concept of legal culture, its structural components, and the mechanisms of influence of family education on the development of legal awareness and legal behavior.The importance of the family as the primary socialization environment, the influence of parents' legal literacy and personal example on the legal culture of young people, is substantiated.It also reveals the pedagogical possibilities of cooperation between families and educational institutions in increasing the effectiveness of legal education.
