PEDAGOGICAL AND PHILOSOPHICAL VIEWS OF ABU ALI IBN SINA

The article analyzes Abu Ali ibn Sina’s views on education and upbringing, in particular his ideas on collective schooling, the requirements for teachers, the classification of sciences and moral virtues. The scholar’s pedagogical ideas are compared with the principles of modern education, and their relevance today is shown.
