The importance of soft power in Turkey's foreign policy is reflected in a number of directions. In particular, state-sponsored educational scholarship programs for international students have been adopted. Due to the fact that the economic growth and development of the country directly depends on the qualified youth, many countries have redesigned their higher education systems in the global competitive environment. If we pay special attention to the example of Turkey, we can see that in recent years, strategic steps have been taken to strengthen the internationalization of Turkey's higher education system. In this regard, the article examines the main goals and future possibilities of the Turkish education system.
