In this article, the life, activity, and creative legacy of Mahmud az-Zamakhshari are explored in the context of the socio-philosophical, economic, and political aspects of the era in which he lived. At the same time, based on the characteristics of that period, the specific features of the development of the Khwarazm region are analyzed. Furthermore, the article provides an analytical discussion of Mahmud az-Zamakhshari’s place in the world of science and his views on how knowledge elevates a person and leads them toward perfection.
