
THE ROLE OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND ETHNOGRAPHIC RESEARCH IN THE HISTORY OF UZBEKISTAN

This article examines the role of archaeological and ethnographic research in the history of Uzbekistan. It emphasizes the importance of studying material and spiritual heritage scientifically to better understand the development of society and intercultural interactions. Archaeological findings provide valuable insights into ancient urban planning, irrigation systems, economic activities, and religious practices, while ethnographic research highlights the unique lifestyle, traditions, folk art, and handicrafts of the Uzbek people.
