IN SEARCH OF KNOWLEDGE TO EUROPE: THE FATE OF JADID WOMAN MARYAM SULTONMURODOVA

This article examines the socio-philosophical role of women within the Jadid movement of early twentieth-century Turkestan through the life of Maryam Sultonmurodova. The study focuses on enlightenment ideals, women’s pursuit of education abroad, and the tragic consequences of repression under a totalitarian regime. Maryam Sultonmurodova’s life is interpreted as a model of dedication, moral courage, and national responsibility.
