This article analyzes the principle of masalih al-mursala and its application in real life. Masalih al-mursala is applied in Islamic law to resolve issues for which there is no explicit evidence but which ensure public welfare. The study primarily examines labor-related matters such as determining retirement age, granting regular and additional leave, protection from unfair dismissal, setting minimum wages, working hours, and ensuring employee healthcare. The findings indicate that applying the principle of masalih al-mursala allows Islamic law to maintain justice and protect human interests across different times and places.
