LEGAL REGULATION OF EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS OF ACADEMIC STAFF IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the legal regulation of labor relations of academic staff in higher education institutions. The aim of the study is to identify the normative-legal framework governing pedagogical labor relations, to reveal existing shortcomings within the current system, and to develop scientifically grounded recommendations for their elimination. The study employs legal, comparative, and systematic analysis methods; the empirical basis includes Uzbekistan's labor legislation, regulatory documents governing higher education, and contract systems of several foreign countries. As a result, practical recommendations were developed concerning the standardization of labor relations, the introduction of a KPI-based evaluation system, the advancement of differential incentive mechanisms, and the strengthening of the legal protection of academic staff.
