This article explores the ontological essence of gender equality and its manifestations within social reality from the perspective of contemporary social philosophy. Gender equality is interpreted not merely as a legal or political principle but as an essential dimension of human existence and social being. Drawing on classical and modern philosophical approaches, the paper analyzes the manifestation of gender equality in the family, education, the labour market, political institutions, and civil society. It also examines the ontological foundations of gender equality in the context of ongoing social transformation in Uzbekistan.

This article analyzes the political title of Temur, the great statesman and commander of the 14th century, and the issues of legitimacy in his state administration. Based on historical sources, the study discusses whether it is true that despite establishing a vast empire, Temur chose the statuses of “Amir” and “kuragon” rather than the titles of “sultan” or “khan”. The article examines the synthesis between the "Yassa" laws of the Chingizids and the traditions of Islamic statehood, as well as Temur's status in international diplomatic relations.

This article provides a socio-philosophical analysis of the axiological relationship between gender-based violence and human dignity. It examines contemporary forms of gender-based violence and their negative impact on human dignity, social justice, and the system of human rights. Particular attention is paid to the axiological foundations of the reforms implemented in New Uzbekistan aimed at promoting gender equality and enhancing human dignity. The study argues that the effective prevention of gender-based violence requires not only the improvement of legal mechanisms but also the development of moral values, legal culture, and gender awareness within society.

This article examines the role of social capital in shaping women's economic thinking from a socio-philosophical perspective. The study analyzes the influence of social trust, social networks, cooperation, and institutional support on women's economic decision-making, entrepreneurial activity, and innovative capacity. The research is based on socio-philosophical analysis, systems approach, comparative analysis, and content analysis. The findings indicate that strengthening social capital enhances women's economic participation, entrepreneurial initiatives, and inclusive economic development.

The article examines the issues of handicrafts and trade in the city of Jizzakh on the eve of its conquest by the Russian Empire. Owing to its location at an important crossroads of the Great Silk Road, linking the Samarkand–Tashkent and Fergana directions, in the mid-19th century Jizzakh developed such craft industries as pottery, blacksmithing, weaving, leatherworking, jewelry-making, soap-making, chest-making, and sericulture, along with domestic and external trade. Based on an analysis of archival documents, oral history data, and the scholarly works of researchers, the article highlights the branches of urban handicraft, their products, production technology, and interregional trade relations.
